The customer service was excellent. I was unsure between XL and XXL pants.
My waist measures 43 1/2 but my other sweatpants are 40-42 waist (XL). The XXL (44-46) provides extra room in the front legs and is comfortable under fishing bibs. The XL was snug, restrictive in the legs when bending, and has a pull in the back when leaning. I felt this restriction in my bibs, but was still comfortable.
If you’re between sizes or at the maximum size, go up a size. You want to be comfortable in an ice shack or lazying around. All pants are 32 inches long, so you can have tight pants or slightly baggy pants if you have short legs.
